Welcome to ACC-NECA

The Atlantic Coast Chapter, NECA was established in 1997 by the merger of equals of the Carolinas and Virginia Chapters' of NECA. A mission statement was formulated which states:

"To create a single chapter devoted to delivering more and improved service to all members for the same investment"

Today, the Chapter continues the tradition of service to the electrical contracting industry that was started by its predecessor chapters in the 1930s.

The Chapter represents qualified and experienced electrical contractors in the following Chapter divisions and major metropolitan areas.

• North Carolina Cities: Ashville, Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham Triangle, Wilmington, Winston-Salem Triad
• South Carolina Cities: Charleston
• Virginia Cities: Newport News, Norfolk, and Richmond

Within these areas, the Chapter maintains relationships with the following Local Unions of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW):

• Local Union #s: 80, 238, 342, 379, 495, 553, 666, 776, and 1340
